Cyclone Reinforcing Steel has been in existence since 1987. The founder, Danny Ramroop, has over 35 years experience in the industry. With a vision, by Metansha Ramroop, in 2003 Cyclone Reinforcing Steel became a (Pty) Ltd with a goal to improve the growth of its employees and to offer its efficient services to the larger civil industry i.e the tender contracts market. She is a shareholder and one of few women who has chosen this uniquely challenging and male dominated industry. She has established a good reputation for the company with many contractors in KZN and Gauteng.

Cyclone Reinforcing steel is an Affirmable Business Enterprise (ABE) and complies with the requirements of the Black Economic Empowerment procurement policies and now offers its services in two regions – Kwa Zulu Natal and Gauteng
We aim to provide a safe & healthy workplace, both at our production yard and on site. We work in accordance to maintaining our “Letter of Good Standing” with the Workmans Compensation Commissioner, with a good level of emergency preparedness.
Cyclone is committed to empowering our unskilled employees by providing the training, coaching and mentoring courses offered by SARCEA (South African Reinforced Concrete Engineering Association).
